Independent Living
Independent Living Communities generally offer a wide variety of indoor and outdoor activities built around the seven dimensions of wellness. These communities offer dining and most offer light house cleaning services. Our goal in an Independent Living Community is to keep the residents moving and actively engaged in activities that support their individual mobility and wellness goals so that they can enjoy the community they have chosen to call home.
Assisted/Personal Care Living
Assisted Living Communities offer many of the amenities of an Independent Living Community but also have professional caregivers to assist residents who require additional help with daily tasks such as: medication management, bathing, dressing, toileting or transferring.
In an Assisted Living Community, the NEXT Therapy Solutions team partners closely with the community leadership and professional caregivers to ensure that the residents are moving and actively engaged in activities that support their individual mobility and wellness goals. Our industry leading therapy services help identify potential risks so our team can intervene proactively to prevent falls or other injuries that could cause a resident to have to leave the community. In the event a resident should need to leave the community for care, they can come right back to the community to receive the therapy services prescribed as part of their discharge plan.
Memory Care
These residents often have complex care needs due to the nature of dementia-related illness. These communities focus on ensuring safety, reducing confusion, slowing disease progression and managing medications for their residents.
The NEXT Therapy Solutions Team has additional training in Memory Care, and we work closely with the community and caregivers, as well as the family and of course, the resident, to offer therapy services at an appropriate level to ensure that we are enabling each Resident to engage and participate in community activities at the highest level and in the safest way possible.
